Component Engineer at ecobee

Laszlo Katona began their work experience in 2011 as an Embedded Systems Engineer at MAST, where they played a key role in designing and testing a robotic sailboat for an inter-university competition. Laszlo developed software for autonomous sailing and contributed to team management. In 2012, they joined Aztech Associates Inc. as a Junior Engineer, where they primarily focused on writing test code, conducting testing and troubleshooting, as well as designing PCBs. Laszlo stayed with Aztech Associates Inc. until 2018. In 2012, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Queen's University. Since 2018, they have been working at ecobee as a Component Engineer.

Laszlo Katona obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering from Queen's University between 2008 and 2012.
