Nick Evans is an experienced Data Science team leader and Machine Learning expert, having built and managed teams in various organizations, including Shopify and Health Canada. They have been responsible for high-quality decision support for executives and the development of production machine learning models and applications. Currently, Nick serves as the Senior Manager of Machine Learning at ecobee, while previously co-founding CareerFeed and working as a data science consultant. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Ottawa, Nick has a strong technical foundation that underpins their leadership in the data science domain.
