Winifred Heung

Winifred Heung has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in marketing and technology. Currently, they are a Senior Marketing Technology Manager at ecobee, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Marketing Technology Manager at ecobee from June 2021 to January 2023. Before joining ecobee, Winifred worked at FreshBooks as an Email Marketing Manager from April 2018 to February 2019, and as an Email Marketing Specialist from July 2016 to April 2018. Winifred also has experience in the travel industry, having worked at Insight Vacations as the Head of Digital Marketing (Global) from January 2016 to July 2016, and as an Email Marketing Manager (Global) from February 2014 to January 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Marketing Specialist at Trafalgar Tours from August 2011 to February 2014. Winifred's career began at The Travel Corporation Canada, where they served as an Air Co-ordinator from 2007 to 2010, and as a Trafalgar Reservations staff member from 2006 to 2009.

Winifred Heung completed their Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree in Geography and Economics at the University of Waterloo from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include the Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator certification from Salesforce in August 2022 and the Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification from Salesforce in January 2021. Winifred also holds the Email Marketing Master certification from MarketingProfs, obtained in January 2015, and the Digital Media Studies certification from the Ontario College of Art & Design, obtained in January 2013. Furthermore, Winifred obtained a Certificate in Direct Marketing from the Canadian Marketing Association in January 2012. Lastly, they successfully completed the Travel Counsellors Exam offered by TICO in 2009, although the specific month of attainment is not provided.
