ECODIT
Joseph Karam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and leadership roles. Joseph began their career in 1985 at ICF Consulting, where they worked as a Project Manager until 1993. In 1993, they joined ECODIT and served as the President until January 2022, when they transitioned to the role of Executive Vice President. Additionally, Joseph Karam founded the American Friends of the Lebanon Mountain Trail in 2009 and has been serving as its President and Founder since then.
Joseph Karam's education history begins in 1980 when they attended École Polytechnique, where they earned a degree in Engineering. Joseph then went on to attend Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées from 1982 to 1983, where they obtained a degree in Civil Engineering. Later, from 1983 to 1985, Joseph pursued a Master of Science degree in Technology & Policy with a focus on Water Resources Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

To serve our clients most effectively, ECODIT has two permanent office locations: one in the Washington, DC area (USA) and one in Beirut (Lebanon). In addition, ECODIT maintains a number of project-dedicated offices around the world; as of May 2023, ECODIT has project offices in Beirut, Lebanon; Monrovia, Liberia; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Harare, Zimbabwe; and Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
