Ecofiber Recycling AS was founded in 2015. The company is an approved recycling facility for fiberglass and composites from leisure boats, construction, offshore, aquaculture, agriculture and wind turbines blades. The disposal of fiberglass and composite is something we want to challenge. These materials from various decommissioned products are delivered to our facility as waste being processed into an end material, that can be utilized as input factor in various new circular products. Our team is strongly committed to contribute towards the new circular economy.

Ecofiber Recycling AS is proud to have contributed to the introduction of a government supported refund scheme for leisure boats, implemented in October 2017. In Norway alone, there are about 1 million leisure boats and at least 20% of these are ready to be decommissioned and recycled. Recycling of these leisure boats represents a far better environmental value proposition than this waste being left on land, sunk in the ocean, burned or delivered to landfill.
