Julian Burger

Julian Burger is a Sustainability Analyst at Ecometrica since February 2023, with prior experience as a Summer Manager and Consultant at Smith Business Consulting. At Smith, Julian developed a greenhouse gas emissions inventory for the Town of Gananoque, proposed a significant retrofit plan for an arena to reduce electricity consumption, and presented findings to local government officials. Additional roles include consulting for Queen's Social Investment Initiative, where Julian provided strategic advice on sustainable business practices, and working with Public Services and Procurement Canada, analyzing greenhouse gas emissions for a major energy system. Julian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University and has contributed to various sustainability initiatives throughout the career.
