Ralf Schlimper

Dr.-Ing. Ralf Schlimper graduated in 2007 from the University of Applied Science, Bremen in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Technology. From 2007 to 2014 he was research assistant In the Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems IMWS In Halle. He worked In the Group High performance composite materials and received his PhD from the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg / Center for Engineering Science In 2014. Since 2015 he Is the leader of the Research Group Assessment of Composite Systems at Department Polymer Applications of the Fraunhofer IMWS In Halle. His research activities are related to mechanical engineering of composite structures, especially lightweight sandwich structures.
