James Pooton

James Pooton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James began their career as a System Administrator and Programmer at ATCI/EconoCall where they designed and maintained UNIX based telephony services. In 1995, they founded DigiSys Incorporated, an Internet Service Provider that became the largest in northwest Montana before being sold to CenturyTel in 2000. At CenturyLink, James served as the Director of Web Solutions and managed a team responsible for building web applications and e-commerce solutions. James then went on to become the President and Co-owner of netFocal Incorporated, where they worked on various business ventures and provided technical services. Currently, James is the Director of Engineering at eConnect, Inc., focusing on facial recognition system design, video analytics processing, data integrations, and improving development infrastructure. Prior to that, they were the President and Owner of Codelica LLC. Overall, James Pooton has extensive experience in various technical roles and has demonstrated expertise in areas such as web development, telecommunications, and internet services.
