Riz Akram

Riz Akram has been working in the network security field since 2012. In that time, they have worked for Woodside Energy as a System Engineer, Insight Enterprise Systems as a Network Engineer, Sungard Availability Services as a Network Engineer, DataVox as a Network Engineer, Preventice Solutions as a Network Engineer, and currently works as a Senior Network Security Engineer for eConsortium. During their time at these companies, they have provided technical assistance, designed and implemented projects and incidents, and managed network and security issues. Riz has also worked with internal groups, 3rd party groups, and clients to ensure successful and accurate implementations. Riz has experience with Cisco NGFW FTD and ASA/ASA-X networks, Palo Alto networks, Meraki networks, Firewall migrations, Cisco Call-Manager, and wireless access points.

Riz Akram obtained a Master's degree in Networks & Telecommunication from SZABIST in 2009. Riz also holds certifications from Cisco, including the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Security (CCIE) obtained in September 2019, as well as the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), and PCNSE from Palo Alto Networks.
