Aleksander previously worked as a Virtualization Architect / Automation Engineer for the NYC Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications from August of 2013 to March of 2015. During their time there, they were responsible for architecting and implementing a highly-available DoITT vSphere 5.5 environment with Site Recovery Manager 5.5 and DR Site in NJ, implementing HA and Multi-site Single Sign-On service to support unified web console access, maintaining about 100 ESXi hosts hosting about 10,000 VMs managed by 6 vCenter Servers, implementing SQL Availability Groups with Always-On option to support highly-available database for the infrastructure, implementing signed trusted certificates for all services to comply with DoITT standards, creating and maintaining the knowledge base documentation for continued support, creating and maintaining workflows and scripts for vCloud Automation Center, vCenter Orchestrator, VMware vSphere PowerCLI and vSphere CLI, providing level 3 technical assistance for installation, maintenance and monitoring of virtual Infrastructure, Microsoft Windows and Linux Virtual Machines, and working closely with storage, networking and capacity planning team to make sure the virtual environment is healthy and not running out of
Aleksander Lisowski's educational career includes studying at Warsaw University of Technology and receiving certifications from VMware, Cisco, Citrix, and Juniper Networks.
