Hernando Pinto is an experienced geologist with a career spanning from 1988 to the present. Pinto began as a wellsite geologist for various oil companies in Colombia while working as an independent contractor until November 2016. Subsequently, Pinto served as Geólogo Senior de Pozo for Equión Energía Limited from April 2017 to January 2020 and is currently employed as a geologist at Ecopetrol since February 2020. Earlier experience includes working as a field geologist for geotechnics and mining projects with Consultores Asociados from January 1991 to February 1993. Hernando Pinto holds a degree in Geología/Ciencias de la Tierra from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
