Luis Salgado is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and energy sectors. Currently serving as Program Hub Manager at Ecopetrol since January 2018, Luis has previously held the role of Drilling & Completions Regional Manager. In 2017, Luis founded and became General Manager of Minelco Colombia, focusing on mining, construction, energy, and consulting services. From 2008 to 2016, Luis worked at Schlumberger, where positions included Vice President overseeing integrated project operations in the western hemisphere and Vice President Commercial responsible for the growth strategy of Integrated Drilling Services in South America. Additional roles at Schlumberger included Program Manager and HR Manager for Mexico East. Luis’s career began at Schlumberger in 1996, with various engineering and management positions. Luis holds degrees in Electronics and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad del Cauca.
