Brett Battles

Brett Battles has a long and varied work experience. In 2001, they began working at Aberdare Ventures as a General Partner, where they were responsible for raising $25M from institutional investors and family foundations. In 2004, they moved to NetApp as Director of Product Management and Product Marketing. In 2008, they became a Mentor Chair for Clean Tech Open. In 2009, they founded and became CEO of EcoRebates. In 2017, they became a Member Board of Directors for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula and a Draftsman for BlueprintLabs.org. In 2018, they became a Venture Partner for AV8 Ventures. In 2019, they became a Board Advisor for Locomation. In 2020, they became a Board Advisor for Contract Wrangler, Inc.

Brett Battles received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, followed by a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Brett then went on to obtain a Ph D in ME (laser diagnostics) from Stanford University.
