Jochen Maes

Jochen Maes is a Principal Transport Consultant and Team Leader at Ecorys and a Professor of Transport Economics at Ghent University. They have over a decade of experience in the transport field, including four years as an academic researcher at the University of Antwerp. Jochen earned a PhD in transport economics and has authored a book on rail transport. Since 2020, they have been involved in organizing the Antwerp Rail School and are currently a member of the MORA committee on goods transport and logistics.
