Technical Coordinator For Cono Sur at ecosecurities

Azul Popper currently serves as the Technical Lead for Cono Sur at ecosecurities, overseeing a team focused on VCS and CCB projects and conducting feasibility analyses and certifications for nature-based solutions in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at the UN Environment Programme, where Azul led Argentina's GHG inventory for the AFOLU sector, and a position at FAO involving research and coordination for resilient watershed management. Previous roles also include managing environmental programs and land tenure policies at the Instituto de Vivienda de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, project development with the Movimiento Nacional Campesino Indígena, and academic work as an assistant teacher at Universidad de Buenos Aires. Azul holds a Licentiate in Environmental Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires and participated in an international exchange program at ISA Lille.
