Dr. Miklós Mohos

Dr. Miklós Mohos has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Miklós began their career as an Environmental Researcher at EGIS Pharmaceuticals PLC from July 2005 to January 2007. Dr. Miklós then worked as an Assistant Research Fellow at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences from March 2010 to June 2012, where they focused on surface modification of silicon wafers for biological applications and developed a contact angle measurement device. From July 2012 to December 2013, they served as a PhD student and Assistant Research Fellow at Universität Bern, specializing in nanotechnology, electrochemistry, and instrument development. In February 2014, they transitioned to the role of Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Co-leader at Universität Bern, leading an electrochemical research project in collaboration with BASF and coordinating the work of lab technicians. In March 2017, Dr. Mohos joined Cytosurge as an R&D Engineer in 3D micro-nano printing, where they worked until March 2018. In April 2018, they became the Chief Operating Officer at EcoSync, a position they currently hold. Additionally, they joined the Alchemist Accelerator as a Member in Class XXVI in August 2020. Throughout their career, Dr. Mohos has demonstrated expertise in research, project leadership, experimental planning, data analysis, report writing, and presentation skills.

Dr. Miklós Mohos started their education in 1999 at Piarist Secondary School in Vác, specializing in Physics and Chemistry. Dr. Miklós completed their secondary school graduation in 2003.

From 2003 to 2010, Dr. Mohos attended Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE), majoring in Chemical engineering. Dr. Miklós obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree from the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology.

In 2012, Dr. Mohos enrolled at the University of Bern, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry and Molecular Sciences. Their research focused on nanochemistry, electrochemistry, characterization, and surface science. Dr. Miklós successfully completed their Ph.D. in 2014.

In April 2016, Dr. Mohos obtained the Duolingo-angoltudás: felsőfok certification from Duolingo, showcasing their advanced proficiency in the English language.
