Kunitake Aoki

Kunitake Aoki is an experienced professional in the fields of art design and education, currently serving as the Owner and Instructor at STEAM for Teens LLC since March 2017, where Aoki conducts STEAM enrichment classes in various educational institutions. As Chief Product Officer at EcoSystemOne since January 2019, Aoki focuses on product design and management. Aoki is also a Unity Developer at Element 7 Productions LLC since January 2018, specializing in 360 video experience development. Previous roles include Art Director at Recurrence, Inc. and Principal Artist at Nintendo, where Aoki directed art for games such as Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Aoki’s career began at Sega of America, Inc. as Art Director, notably creating Knuckles the Echidna for Sonic 3. Aoki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design Management from Tokyo Zokei University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
