Robert Reardon

Director, Business Development at eCourtDate

Robert Reardon has a diverse work experience in various roles. Robert currently serves as the Director of Business Development at eCourtDate since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette starting from September 2014.

From September 2018, Robert worked as a Consultant and Subject Matter Expert for various organizations while being open to opportunities. Before that, they held the position of Detention Administrator at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office from July 2017 to February 2022.

Robert has also worked as the Director of Corrections Programs and Training at the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office from May 2017 to June 2017. Additionally, they worked as part of the Homeless Outreach team at Catholic Charities of Acadiana from February 2017 to June 2017.

Robert has had significant experience at the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, where they served as the Director of Corrections from September 2001 to June 2016. During this time, they also worked as an RFC for the National Institute of Corrections from 2002 to 2005.

Robert started their career at the Hennepin County Sheriff, where they worked as a Project Manager from March 1999 to September 2001 and as a Detention Deputy/Sgt from June 1990 to March 1999.

In 2016, Robert briefly served as the Executive Director of The Bridge Center for Hope, a diversion location for law enforcement and the public to bring individuals suffering from behavioral issues. Their role involved providing alternatives to the use of jail or emergency departments for individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues.

Robert Reardon obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Minnesota State University Moorhead, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Robert then pursued a Masters degree in Management from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota from 1999 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Robert Reardon has obtained certifications such as Certified Auditor from the American Correctional Association in June 2017, and Certified Corrections Executive (CCE) from the same institution in August 2011.
