Sandeep Som

Sandeep Som currently serves as the West Coast Process Optimization Manager and Operations Manager at Ecovyst, Inc., having joined the company in January 2022. Prior to this role, Sandeep had a long tenure at INEOS from August 2005 to January 2022 as the Manager of Engineering/SSHE, focusing on the development of discipline engineering teams and resource deployment. Sandeep’s earlier experience includes positions at Jacobs Engineering Group where responsibilities included process equipment sizing for various facilities, and at Washington Group International, where management of pharmaceutical engineering projects was key. Sandeep holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Sciences and Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
