Jan Maris

Jan Maris is an experienced professional in offshore engineering and project management, currently serving as the Foundation Package Manager at Ecowende since July 2023, where responsibilities include the development and execution of WTG foundation design and contracts for a wind farm project. Previously, Jan held various positions at Shell from 2012 to the present, including Structural Engineer, Site Lead, and more recently, secondment to Ecowende. Jan's career began with an internship at Shell Global Solutions, followed by consultancy roles and internships at A.P. Moller - Maersk, GustoMSC, and Allseas. Jan holds a Master's degree in Ship Hydrodynamics from Delft University of Technology, as well as qualifications in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London. Educational background also includes pre-university education with a focus on science.
