Elise Pullen is a seasoned naturalist and environmental educator with extensive experience in coordinating and leading interactive environmental education programs. Currently serving as the Naturalist and Volunteer Coordinator at Okeeheelee Nature Center since March 2023, Elise promotes conservation through outreach and presentations. As an Adjunct Instructor of Environmental Biology at ECPI University and a freelance Scientific Illustrator, Elise has contributed to notable publications, including works on shark biology and top predators. Previous roles include Naturalist at Tarpon Bay Explorers, Water Education AmeriCorps VISTA with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and Graduate Assistant at Coastal Carolina University. Elise holds a Master of Science in Coastal Marine and Wetland Studies from Coastal Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Environmental Studies from Florida Southern College.
