Gary Melander

Gary Melander has extensive experience in the field of computer technology and education. Currently an instructor at ECPI University since March 2001, Gary teaches computer technology classes while also advising students. Concurrently, Gary serves as the Service Manager and owner of M&W Computer Services since April 1994, focusing on computer repairs, networking, and recycling. Gary's military background as a Senior Chief Data Systems Technician in the US Navy spanned over two decades from 1972 to 1995, during which Gary advanced through various roles and earned significant qualifications such as Master Training Specialist and ESWS pin. Academically, Gary holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s Degree in Electronics & Computer Technology from Indiana State University and a Master’s Degree in IT - Network Architecture & Design from Capella University, complementing an earlier Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
