Gerry White

Gerry White is an experienced academic and entrepreneur, currently serving as Dean of Academic Technology, Department Chair of Arts and Sciences, Professor of English, and eSports Coach at ECPI University since February 2005. In addition to these roles, Gerry founded MyTutorPlus, an innovative AI-driven tutoring platform, and Life Preserve LLC, which focuses on Augmented Reality design to preserve memories. Co-founding AIM-HR, a community initiative to promote knowledge in artificial intelligence, and Project V.I.R.G.I.L, alongside serving as Chief Technology Officer for Hampton Roads Weekly and co-founding Code & Quill Review, highlights Gerry's commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration in the humanities and technology. Previous experience includes leading game design teams at Share The Game, directing development at Axe Apps, and contributing to game and simulation projects with My Virtual Fish Tank/Untanked. Gerry's academic background includes extensive work in English Literature, Philosophy & Religious Studies, and Music Composition at Old Dominion University, as well as performance studies at Virginia Governor's Magnet School for the Arts.
