Jonathan Helms Dnp

Jonathan Helms DNP, MSN, RN, NE-BC serves as the Assistant Director of Nursing and a faculty member at ECPI University since February 2022, while also contributing as a Subject Matter Expert for Western Governors University and a Professional Guardian for Transition of Care Advocate, LLC. With a strong background in nursing leadership, Jonathan previously held the position of Director of Nursing at National HealthCare Corporation, where leadership of a 5 Star nursing team was a key responsibility. Additional roles include Agile Nurse Leader at Tenet Healthcare and Nurse Leader at Trident Medical Center. Jonathan earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Executive Leadership and Innovation from the Medical University of South Carolina and has extensive teaching experience as an adjunct faculty member at Grand Canyon University and in previous roles at Queens University of Charlotte. Jonathan's educational foundation includes a Master’s in Nursing Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University.
