Kyle Schroeder is the Owner of Schroeder Innovations and an Adjunct Faculty member at ECPI University since March 2021. Prior to these roles, Kyle served as an Automation Researcher at the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing from July 2018 to February 2021 and worked as a Research Engineer at SpringActive, focusing on control strategies for powered prosthetic ankles. Academic experience includes teaching Systems and Transformations at Arizona State University and a postdoctoral position researching volitional control strategies for upper limb prostheses. Earlier research roles involved torque control methods for robotic arms at Los Alamos National Laboratory and force/torque control in robotics during graduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Kyle has a PhD in Robotics and Nuclear Engineering, a Master’s in Engineering with a focus on Nuclear Engineering and Robotics, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
