Mike Ship

Mike Ship is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in Cyber and Network Security at ECPI University since December 2020. Simultaneously, Mike holds the position of Cyber Security Engineer at Lockheed Martin, having previously worked as a Cyber-Threat Engineer and Network Security Analyst at the same company. Prior experiences include roles as Sr. Lead Cybersecurity Engineer at CDI Corporation, Enterprise Cyber Security Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding, and Sr. Information Assurance Engineer at Capstone Corporation. Mike's extensive background began with various roles at CACI Federal Inc, L3 Communications, and General Dynamics, focusing on systems administration and information assurance for U.S. Air Force weapons systems. Mike earned a Master of Science in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigation from the University of Maryland Global Campus and holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Networking and Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Strayer University.
