William Roberson

William "Allen" Roberson, Ph.D., MBA, CISSP, is an accomplished academic and technology leader with extensive experience in the fields of information technology, cybersecurity, and education. Currently serving as the Program Director for the Computer Information Science / Cyber & Network Security Department at ECPI University since November 2018, Roberson oversees curriculum, student success, and accreditation standards. Additionally, Roberson holds adjunct and visiting professor positions at Texas A&M University, DeVry University, and the University of Phoenix, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses while facilitating a comprehensive understanding of information technology as an organizational resource. Previous executive roles include Chief Operations Officer and Chief Information Officer at WARGroup Development, LLC, as well as a Supervisory Research Engineer and Information Technology Director at the US Army Corps of Engineers. Roberson's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Information Technology Education and an MBA in Management Information Systems, among other degrees and certifications.
