Mohammed Mulla, PhD, PE, CPM, currently serves as Vice President and Special Projects Group Director at ECS Limited since August 2021, overseeing a team focused on complex civil geotechnical engineering projects. Prior to this role, Mohammed held the position of Transportation Infrastructure Director at Thompson Engineering, leading a multidisciplinary team in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mohammed's extensive career at the North Carolina Department of Transportation spanned over three decades, where responsibilities included Assistant State Geotechnical Engineer, State Soils and Foundation Engineer, and management of geotechnical contracts and statewide services. Mohammed holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, alongside a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
