Tyler Schmidt

Tyler Schmidt is a seasoned professional in facilities engineering and consulting, currently serving as Facilities Associate Principal at ECS Limited since October 2022. Prior to this role, Tyler worked as a Principal Consultant at Intertek from September 2021 to March 2023, focusing on quality assurance and mentoring staff. Tyler's experience also includes serving as a Staff Engineer at Professional Service Industries, Inc. from February 2016 to March 2023 and an internship at Accurate Technologies in 2014, contributing to industrial and land surveying projects. With a strong technical background in construction layout control, equipment alignment, and GIS applications, Tyler has been involved in notable projects, including the Timken Steel Company's new continuous caster and GIS implementation at MWCD Charles Mill Lake. Tyler holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Ohio University, earned between 2011 and 2015.
