🌟 Who We Are

ECTAA is the umbrella organization representing travel agents and tour operators across Europe. With over 60 years of experience, we advocate for the interests of our members by engaging with European and international institutions to shape a favorable regulatory environment.

Our members are national travel associations from 35 countries representing some 80.000 travel agents and tour operators
Each year, they sell: 
- More than 300 million air tickets worth 60 billion EUR  
- 120 million of prearranged and 90 million of dynamic travel packages equivalent to about 180 billion EUR .

🎯 Our Mission

Our mission is to enable sustainable growth and competitiveness of the European travel industry. We achieve this by:
•	Advocating for fair and balanced regulations.
•	Promoting sustainable travel practices.
•	Providing a forum for collaboration and learning.

🚀 What We Do

•	Monitor Legislation: Keep an eye on laws impacting travel companies.
•	Inform Members: Regular updates and meetings on European affairs.
•	Consult and Represent: Adopt common positions and represent members’ interests.
•	Identify and disseminate innovative developments: the travel sector is familiar with disruptive technologies and new players
•	Advocate for Sustainability: Supporting initiatives such as the Glasgow Declaration and UNWTO Code of Ethics.
