Øystein Michael Falch has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Øystein Michael is currently the Director of Sales And Business Development Norway at Ecto. Øystein Michael has prior experience as a Consultant at Marine Harvest and as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for GENOMAR - TRAPIA Malaysia, where they handled fish genetics and breeding. Øystein also worked as an Investment Manager at Galileo Invest and as a Product Manager at Ergosoft. Øystein Michael served as a Board Member at New Learning AS and held various roles at Orkla ASA, including Chief Financial Controller and Logistics Director.

Øystein Michael Falch completed their secondary education at Edmonds Woodway High School from 1983 to 1984. Øystein Michael then pursued their undergraduate studies at BI Norwegian Business School from 1987 to 1991, obtaining an MBA degree with a focus on business and finance. Subsequently, in 1991, they continued their education at Arizona State University, earning an additional MBA degree with a specialization in finance.
