Melissa Rowe

Melissa Rowe, MSN, MBA, RN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Melissa currently serves as the Director of Nursing at Ecumen, where they oversee the financial and clinical operations of the 60-bed Transitional Care unit. Melissa is responsible for various departments including admissions, case management, nursing, and quality.

Prior to their current role, Melissa worked at Essentia Health for over a decade. Melissa held several positions during their tenure, including Nurse Manager for the Coronary and Surgical ICUs. In this role, they supervised a large team of clinical staff and managed the financial and clinical operations. Melissa also served as the Interim Manager of the ICU residency and the ICU float pool for two years.

Melissa also worked as a Clinic Manager and Valve Clinic Coordinator at Essentia Health. Additionally, they served as an RN and Leadership Coordinator at the organization.

Before joining Essentia Health, Melissa gained experience as a Bridge Nurse at Ecumen and as a Marketing Intern/Coordinator at FirstSolutions.

Melissa Rowe, MSN, MBA, RN, has an impressive educational background. Melissa obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Management and Finance from The College of St. Scholastica in 2007. In 2011, they furthered their education by earning another Bachelor's Degree, this time in Nursing Science, from the same institution. Melissa then continued their academic journey at the University of Mary, where they completed a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, during the same period, they also earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Mary.
