eCurrency (ECR) is a fixed-supply Layer-1 blockchain built specifically for digital payments, not adapted from a general-purpose platform.

The internet economy runs on digital transactions, but the infrastructure underneath it was never designed for that reality. Traditional financial systems are slow, expensive, and closed to much of the world. Most blockchains were built for general computation, with payments as an afterthought. eCurrency starts from the payment problem and works outward: scalable, programmable, deterministic value transfer for the way commerce actually works today.

The protocol runs on a UTXO-native Proof-of-Stake consensus with 10-second block intervals, a fixed supply of 333,333,333 ECR, no inflation, and no capital lockups for validators. Validator rewards come from transaction fees rather than new token issuance. Post-quantum cryptography is integrated at the protocol level and active today.

eCurrency is designed to operate as long-term payment infrastructure for microtransactions, machine-to-machine settlement, and programmable financial interactions at internet scale.
