Stuart Ireland

Stuart Ireland is an experienced ecology professional currently serving as the Head of Ecology at Ecus Ltd since January 2024. With a robust background at WSP in the UK spanning from October 2008, Stuart has held various senior roles including Technical Director, Associate Director, and Principal Ecologist, focusing on Ecological Impact Assessment. Earlier experience includes pivotal positions as Principal Ecologist at RSK Group plc and Senior Ecologist at Andrew McCarthy Associates, as well as Principal Consultant at Middlemarch Environmental Ltd. Stuart Ireland holds a BSc in Zoology with Marine Zoology from UCNW Bangor, completed between 1989 and 1992.
