Matthew Standland

Matthew Standland is a seasoned professional in analytical chemistry and biochemistry, specializing in mass spectrometry and food safety. With 13 years of experience in various roles across academia, government, and industry, they have developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and method validation. Currently, Matthew serves as a Senior Scientist at Edacious, PBC, where they focus on driving nutritional and sustainable food innovations. Previously, they held positions as an Application Scientist at SCIEX and Chemist Administrator at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, where they contributed to chemical analysis and method development for various food matrices. Matthew earned a BS in Biochemistry from Florida State University and an MS in Pharmacy (Medicinal Chemistry) from The University of Texas at Austin.
