John Black

John Black has a diverse work experience in the technology field. John started their career in 2007 at the University of Central Arkansas, where they served as a Computer Specialist. In this role, they led technology projects, documented installations, provided faculty training, and assessed technology needs for multiple departments. In 2018, they were promoted to the position of Cyber Range Manager, responsible for monitoring server performance, troubleshooting network issues, and managing Windows Domains across the Cyber Range. Currently, they are working at Edafio as a Network Operations Center Engineer, where they ensure network operations run smoothly.

John Black earned an Associate's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in cybersecurity awareness, computer security and internet safety, PowerPoint infographic creation, security matters, networking foundations, programming foundations, wireless networking, and help desk support. These certifications were obtained between February and May of 2023.
