Astrid Andersson

Astrid Andersson currently works as a Simulation Engineer at EDAG Group, focusing on the development and enhancement of simulation methods, models, and strategies, as well as conducting analyses and evaluations of simulations while creating technical documentation and collaborating actively in project teams. Prior to this role, Astrid completed a master's thesis at Northvolt, developing a simulation model for a production line to serve as the foundation for a digital twin, and supported production planning as an end user of this digital tool. Earlier experience includes a position as a Working Student at PARI Pharma GmbH concentrating on system testing and calibration, along with internships at ACTEMIUM Vitrolles, Lidl, Herrfliege, and MTU Aero Engines, where Astrid gained diverse skills in automation, customer service, quality control, and production processes. Astrid holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Production and Automation from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, and a Diplôme d'ingénieur from EPF Engineering School.
