Jan Bohlen

Jan Bohlen is a Project Leader at EDAG Group, specializing in defence applications, blast and ballistic simulations, and armored vehicle consulting since February 2018. Responsibilities include project leadership, numerical evaluations, coordination, and representation, alongside presenting at conferences on protective vehicles and materials. Prior experience encompasses roles as a CAE Engineer focused on numerical evaluations and investigations related to armored vehicles and impact simulations. Jan Bohlen holds a Master of Engineering in Technical Development in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, as well as a qualification as a Mechatronics Technician from IHK Bremen. Earlier, Jan held internship and trainee positions at Mercedes Benz Daimler AG, gaining valuable experience in quality management and mechatronics.
