Tom da Costa

Tom da Costa is the CEO at Edanz and Scribendi, leaders in scientific and STEM editorial and scientific support services. They held senior leadership roles at Edanz Group Ltd, including Division Director (2017-2019) and Director of Sales and Marketing, and served as Chief Commercial Officer and board member (2022-2023). In 2023, they held Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer positions at Scribendi Inc. Their earlier experience included research and consultancy work at T. Seaden and Company Limited (London) from 2000 to 2002 and English instruction at AG Academy in Sydney (2003-2004); they earned an MA in Oriental Studies (Egyptology) from the University of Oxford (1997-2000) and a CELTA from International House, London (2002-2003).
