Maurice J. Watkins

Maurice J. Watkins has a diverse work experience that spans several different industries. Maurice J. started their professional career as an Engineering Intern at Gulfstream Aerospace in 2007. Maurice J. then transitioned to a Graduate Assistant position at Georgia Southern University, where they worked from 2007 to 2008.

In 2009, Maurice volunteered as the Volunteer Program Director for the Research Experience for Undergraduates program at Georgia Southern University. Maurice J. then took on the role of Webmaster for the Statesboro United Soccer Club from 2010 to 2010.

In 2010, Maurice founded their own company, Watkins Proactive Research, LLC, where they worked as the Manager for a brief period. Maurice J. also served as the Outreach Coordinator and Business Development Liaison at Wilberforce University from 2010 to 2012.

Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University in 2003. Maurice J. Watkins also obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the industry. In 2015, they became a certified Java SE 6 Programmer by Oracle, and in 2022, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
