Amit Kumar Jha is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at edara since January 2019, Amit has significantly enhanced organizational knowledge management by developing an advanced document-based question-answering application using Llama-2 and langchain frameworks. Previously at DXC Technology, Amit held roles as a Senior Data Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where contributions included streamlining data integration processes and achieving recognition with an innovation award for improving insurance claim processing efficiency. Amit's career began at Patni Computer System and included a notable tenure at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where leadership in automation projects generated substantial cost savings. Amit possesses a Master’s in Applied Data Science from the University of Michigan and an MCA in Computer Science from Harcourt Butler Technical University.
