Max Taffet

Max Taffet, AICP, is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in waterfront, air-cargo, and freight asset management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation since July 2014, Max has held multiple leadership positions, including Vice President and Assistant Vice President, where responsibilities include project conception and management to optimize asset usage in New York City. Max also contributes to academia as Adjunct Faculty at Cornell University, coordinating and instructing planning professional practice colloquia. Previous roles include Graduate Student Intern at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Graduate Student Real Estate Fellow at Madison Park Development Corporation, and Community Research Associate at The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County. Max holds a Master's degree in Regional Planning from Cornell University and a BA in Political Science and Visual Arts from The University of British Columbia.
