Rasheed Lucas

Rasheed Lucas has extensive experience in project management and community development, having worked as a Senior Project Manager at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection from 2019 to 2021 and as a Project Manager from 2015 to 2019. Currently, Rasheed serves as the Assistant Vice President of Land Use at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, a position held since 2022. Additionally, Rasheed participated in the Morgan Stanley Community Development Graduate Fellowship at the Association for Neighborhood & Housing Development from 2014 to 2015. Rasheed is pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Environmental Science at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry, alongside studies at York College and holding a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a minor in Ecosystems and Human Impact from Stony Brook University.
