Verne Singleton has held several prominent roles throughout their career. Verne worked as the CEO at the Eating Disorder Center of Denver starting in 2008. Prior to that, they served as the EVP at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center from 1997 to 2007. From 1995 to 1998, they were a Partner at VSF International. Verne started their career as the COO at the University Medical Center Tucson, AZ, from 1984 to 1995, and then served as the Assistant Hospital Director at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics from 1978 to 1984.
Verne Singleton obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota, where they attended from 1975 to 1977. Verne then pursued further education at the University of Missouri-Columbia and received a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) with a focus on Healthcare Administration from 1978 to 1980.

Eating disorders are a serious mental health issue and finding the right treatment program is important. Founded in 2001, EDCare offers patients, their families, healthcare professionals and the community over 22 years of eating disorder experience. Our flagship center is located in the heart of Denver, Colorado where we are committed to empowering individuals suffering from eating disorders to make healthy, long-lasting changes. EDCare has become one of the nation’s foremost center for the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders. Our multidisciplinary team of board-certified psychiatrists, physicians, clinicians, family and experiential therapists, and registered dietitians provide treatment to adults, ages 18 and older, of all genders and ethnicities. We offer a safe, judgment-free environment where individuals can gain the tools and support they need overcome the serious complications of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and other related disorders. Upon admission, an interdisciplinary treatment team is assigned to each patient based on their individual needs. This means every treatment plan is unique and is designed to fit the individual. We currently offer various programs in Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska. All of our treatment centers have earned the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. Housing options available in Denver and Kanas City. Most major insurance plans accepted.
