Steve Holwerda is an experienced leader in development and external relations, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of External Relations at EdChoice since January 2020, after previously holding the position of Vice President Of Development. Prior to that, Steve worked at St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital from September 2017 to January 2020 as the Director of Major and Planned Giving and Major Gifts Officer. Earlier experience includes a role as Director of Development at Illiana Christian High School, where Steve managed a $25 million capital campaign and directed all fundraising efforts. Steve began their career as a Foundations Officer at Bible League from August 1999 to January 2006. Steve holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Mississippi State University and an Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management from the University of Notre Dame.
