Allison Crowell

Instructional Coach at EdConnective

Allison Crowell has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Allison began their career as a Spanish Teacher and World Language Department Chair at Ballou Senior High School. In 2013, they moved to Learn Serve International as a Group Leader. In 2015, they took on the role of Human Resources Manager and Work Visa Coordinator at Adams County Nursery, Inc. From 2017 to 2019, they were an International Exchange Coordinator at EF High School Exchange Year. In 2019, they became an English as a Second Language Teacher at Vida Bilingual Elementary Charter School. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as an Instructional Coach at EdConnective and as a Teacher of World Cultures at North Carroll Community School.

Allison Crowell completed their B.A. in Spanish, Religion, and Music from Susquehanna University in 2008. In 2007, they attended Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán to study Spanish and Anthropology. In 2008, they obtained their PK-12 Instructional- Spanish certification from American University, and in 2010 they earned their MAT in Foreign Language Education. In 2020, they obtained their TESOL Certificate Part 1 from Coursera, and most recently, in 2021 they earned their ESL Specialist Certification from Allegheny Intermediate Unit. Allison also holds a CPR/First Aid Instructor certification from the American Red Cross.
