Tom Smith

Tom Smith is an experienced attorney with a diverse legal background. From August 2011 to July 2014, Tom served as an Associate Attorney at Newman, Comley & Ruth, P.C., representing clients in areas such as environmental law, workers’ compensation defense, business law, probate, administrative law, general civil litigation, and medical malpractice defense. Since July 2014, Tom has been an Attorney at EdCounsel, LLC, where representation focuses on Missouri public schools, providing legal advice on law, policy, and strategy to educational leaders. Tom holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Justice Systems from Truman State University.
