Christopher Hemp P.e.

Christopher Hemp, P.E. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in civil engineering and project management. Currently serving as Project Manager at EDC since July 2016, Christopher previously held the role of Project Supervisor for Real Estate & Construction at Southern States Cooperative, where responsibilities included overseeing the site selection, design, budgeting, permitting, bidding, and construction administration of various agronomy and retail projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Prior to that, Christopher worked as a Project Engineer at WW Associates, focusing on the civil engineering design of water and wastewater systems and land development. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at VDOT, specializing in innovative transportation research projects. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
