Michael George serves as the Vice President of Preconstruction at EDC since February 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing a range of projects such as retail, corporate, education, and mixed-use developments. Prior experience encompasses a Construction Management Intern role at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, focusing on safety analysis and project management for VDOT projects, as well as bartending at The Biltmore, where Michael demonstrated versatility and leadership in training staff. Michael also contributed academically as a Teaching Assistant for ARCH 101 at the University of Virginia, guiding students in architectural concepts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
