EDDY CURRENT CONTROLS (INDIA) LIMITED is a Public Limited Company established in the year 1971. We pioneered the manufacture of Eddy Current Variable Speed Drives and related control systems in India in collaboration with M/s Yaskawa Electric Mfg. Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan. The Company has manufacturing facilities at Chalakudy, Kerala and Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. It’s all India customer base for the Variable Speed Drives includes giants in the Private and Public sectors which form more than 60% of the domestic market. We also export products to Gulf countries, African Countries, and Europe.  We are the only manufactures of Water Cooled Eddy Current Drives in India. We have also a separate casting division for the production of steel and grey iron castings.Our R&D unit is recognized by Government of India.

It is this spirit of innovation and enterprise that synergizes our group led by Eddy Current Controls India Limited (ECCIL). Science & technology is harvested to innovate, adapt and develop path breaking products and applications that can be commercially produced by industry. We have a commendable record in developing electrical engineering products enhanced with applied electronic engineering too.
ECCIL has a commitment to contribute to the progress of industry & technology and better lifestyle in India. This is another reason why ECCIL has entered into other areas with innovations and new applications.

Eddy ventured into the production of electric vehicles in 1990. We introduced the first electric car in India " Love Bird". Later we started manufacturing electric material handling equipments and related controls. Today we manufacture products catering to the diversified needs of industry and also which meets stringent quality standards.
